Housing is scar­ce and beco­ming incre­asing­ly expen­si­ve. In the mean­ti­me, tim­ber con­s­truc­tion has gai­ned an important place in the buil­ding indus­try world­wi­de, espe­ci­al­ly with regard to envi­ron­men­tal­ly fri­end­ly con­s­truc­tion. At the begin­ning of Novem­ber, Rei­chen­ba­cher Hamu­el held an expert mee­ting on this sub­ject under the mot­to “A House at your fin­ger­tips!“ The respon­se was gre­at, becau­se the­re were many inte­res­t­ing state­ments on the aspects of sus­taina­bi­li­ty and on the ques­ti­on of how much indi­vi­dua­li­ty a socie­ty can still afford in view of scar­ce resources.
