The 5‑axis VISION-III-TT machi­ning cent­re from Ger­man spe­cial machi­ne manu­fac­tu­rer Rei­chen­ba­cher has been in ope­ra­ti­on at the Setra Group’s wood indus­try cent­re in Långshyt­ta in cen­tral Swe­den sin­ce the end of last year, and this series desi­gna­ti­on pro­mi­ses some­thing extra­or­di­na­ry. Equip­ped with a steel gir­der table with tim­ber sup­ports and con­vey­or sys­tem, the 20,000 mm x 3,100 mm working area of the sys­tem alo­ne is excep­tio­nal and ide­al­ly sui­ted to the pro­ces­sing and pre­fa­bri­ca­ti­on of lar­ge CLT panels for house walls, cei­ling and roof elements.
