Industrial mechanics are indispensable experts in industrial production. They make a significant contribution to the perfect functioning of machines and systems and are essential for ensuring high production quality. Their work requires a high degree of technical know-how, manual dexterity and a sense of responsibility.
Contents of your apprenticeship
- You will manufacture components by sheet metal processing and welding.
- You will put together machines and production systems, install assemblies and take over their maintenance.
- You will gain extensive knowledge in the areas of CNC technology, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- You will process workpieces using machining systems (drilling, milling, turning).
Your qualifications to date
- Qualifying secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school-leaving certificate or vocational/university entrance qualification
- Good technical comprehension and interest in scientific subjects
- Manual dexterity and physical resilience
- Precise and focused working
- Sense of responsibility and team spirit
